Scott Amy has 20+ years of experience in all aspects of intellectual property law. His clients range from individual inventors, small business owners, and startups to global Fortune 100 companies. His practice includes: all aspects of patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret litigation, including district court actions, PTAB proceedings, TTAB proceedings, and ITC investigations; trademark counseling and procurement; patent drafting and procurement; copyright strategy and enforcement; intellectual property advice, counseling, and due diligence; intellectual property licensing and contract negotiation; intellectual property audits and corporate due diligence; intellectual property opinions; mediation; and settlement negotiation.

Scott enjoys learning and working with complex technology, as well as assisting companies expand and enforce their brands in both domestic and international markets. Scott has significant experience advising senior management and in-house counsel and working in fast-paced, team-oriented environments.

Scott spent a decade in the IP litigation group at Alston & Bird LLP and another decade as a litigator at a prominent IP boutique before joining PKH. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, snow-skiing, fishing, and golf.
